'Tis The Season
The Markets
Good evening all,
This holiday week is set to be quieter, so I will be as well.
Markets will close early tomorrow (1:00 PM) and remain closed on Wednesday. I will be away from the screens and have updates here and on X only as needed or if something unexpected should come up.
Two quick charts before you go.
The Charts
SPY continued to defend the trendline today, rising 0.60% and finishing the day basically in the middle of the range for the last two months.
BTCUSD is drifting lower to test its 50-day MA while trading below the AVWAP we’ve been watching closely.
The Trade
Continued consolidation or sideways action for the rest of the week would not be a surprise. We are officially in the ‘Santa Claus Rally’ period, though. So, a positive bias (even if very small) would be welcome.
